European or American wheel?
A European wheel has 37 pockets: numbers 1–36 and a single zero. An American wheel adds a double zero, making 38 pockets. The extra pocket lowers the player’s return, which is why each game’s rules list its RTP.
Inside and outside bets
Inside bets cover single numbers or small groups (straight up, split, street, corner) and pay more because they hit less often. Outside bets — red or black, odd or even, 1–18 or 19–36, dozens and columns — cover large parts of the wheel and pay less.
Lightning versions
Lightning and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette strike random numbers with multipliers each round. To balance that, the standard straight-up payout is lower than on a classic wheel. Read the payout table in the game before you play.
Questions and answers
Can a number be “due”?
No. Every spin is independent; the wheel has no memory of previous results.
What does “single zero” mean?
It is a European-style wheel with one green zero pocket, as opposed to the American wheel with 0 and 00.
